Updated tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) ‘green book’ chapter published
The TBE chapter of the 'green book' (Immunisation against infectious disease) has been updated
UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has published updated guidance on tick-borne encephalitis vaccination in the 'green book': NaTHNaC – The 'green book' travel chapters.
Key updates in this revised chapter include:
- Updated content on the disease and epidemiology (including detection in the UK)
- Tables showing vaccine schedules and reinforcing immunisations
- Updated content regarding severe egg allergy no longer being a contraindication to immunisation
