Between 27 November 2023 and 17 November 2024, a total of 306 dengue cases (of which 283 confirmed) have been reported. Of the samples serotyped, DENV-1 was identified in 70% of cases, and DENV-2 in 30% of cases. Please see our Topics in Brief article for further details on dengue.

Between 27 November 2023 and 22 October 2024, a total of 188 dengue cases (of which 173 confirmed) have been reported. Of the samples serotyped, DENV-2 was identified in 47% of cases, and DENV-1 in 53% of cases.

Between 27 November 2023 and 9 August 2024, a total of 110 cases (including 10 probable cases) have been reported. Both DENV-1 and DENV-2 have been circulating. Of those serotypes sampled, 70 percent were identified as DENV-2.

Between 27 November 2023 and 19 July 2024, 81 confirmed cases of dengue have been reported. As of 19 July 2024, active circulation of the virus is ongoing in Tahiti, Moorea and Nuku-Hiva.
