Oropouche virus disease in Brazil

As of 25 February 2025, a total of 5,514 confirmed Oropouche virus disease cases, and one suspected death, have been reported in Brazil since the beginning of 2025. Most cases have been reported in Espirito Santo: 4,643 cases, followed by Rio De Janeiro: 485 cases and Paraíba: 287 cases.
