Dengue in Kiribati
As of 9 June 2025, a total of 96 confirmed and 383 suspected dengue cases, with 42 hospital admissions, have now been reported in Kiribati for 2025. The serotypes responsible for the current outbreak are dengue virus type 1 (DENV-1) and dengue virus type 2 (DENV-2). Please see our Topics in Brief article for further details on dengue.
