West Nile virus in Italy
As of 23 July 2025, a total of 32 cases of West Nile virus infection (including two deaths) have been confirmed in Italy since the beginning of 2025. Of these cases, 21 were reported in the province of Latina, in the region of Lazio. Please see our factsheet for further details on West Nile virus.
