Liberia

Lassa fever in Liberia

As of 14 June 2026, 23 cases (nine deaths) of Lassa fever have been reported since the start of the year. Bong, Bassa, and Nimba counties are reported to be experiencing outbreaks. 242 confirmed Lassa fever cases including 75 deaths have been reported in Liberia since January 2022.
